It’s finally Fall! Fall is a loved season for a reason. Pumpkin spice, Halloween, great weather…what more could you ask for? I can think of something: a beautiful lake in the background. We’ve got the scoop on all things Fall at Lake Martin. So, when you’re done installing Traxion on your dock steps, give these activities a try!

Fall Family Festival at Russel Crossroads

The Fall Family Festival at Russel Crossroads will take place on October 30th from 10:00-1:00 p.m. This festival is great for adults and kids because there are a variety of fun activities that everyone can enjoy. For the adults, at this year’s festival, you’ll find a blacksmith, grist mill, and pumpkin patch (good for the kiddos too, obviously). For the kids, there are games, wagon rides, pony rides, a petting zoo (with a camel), and more! There is also a blue ribbon canning and baking contest where you can win prizes. Holiday Open House Market at Pennington Park

The Holiday Open House Market at Pennington Park will take place on October 23rd from 10:00-3:00 p.m. This is the first annual arts and crafts market to take place there, so you’ll be a part of history if you attend! The market will feature local arts and crafts, live music, and food trucks. Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs and beverages! For more information, click here.

Santuck Flea Market

Everyone loves a good flea market! There’s nothing better than finding great deals on second-hand goods. The Santuck Flea Market will take place on November 6th at 7300 Central Plank Rd Wetumpka, AL 36092, from 6:00-1;00 p.m, rain or shine. Something in particular that is special about the Santuck Flea Market is that they are a non-profit, run by volunteers, to support the Santuck Volunteer Fire Department and community center. BRHS Bands In Concert

If you’re looking for sme musical entertainment, look no further than the Lake Martin Amphitheater on October 26th from 6:00-9:00 pm. The bands from BRHS and the Alex City Middle School will be at The AMP as the Fall (Halloween) Concert returns this year. The event is free, and you get to support great talent by attending!
